Victim perspective vs Hero perspective

Remember this quote? I remember thinking, "What a baby!".

The truth is, it's not always fair.

What sets victims and heroes apart from one another?

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.

Here are 3 shifts to move towards a hero perspective:

1. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡. Victims say they didn't have enough time, they were "unlucky", they just aren't as skilled as that other person. Heros know life doesn't just happen to them, but they can direct the currents of their lives.

2. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚. Victims say they have no choice. Heros know they always have a choice - even in the direst circumstances. If you don't believe me read about Victor Frankl the holocaust survivor.

3. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣. Victims look at their current circumstances and believe that they will never change. Heros know that though it might be hard now, it won't be this way forever. This is just a season.

I'm not sure what you're currently experiencing, but...

You're ridiculously in control, you can choose, and this is just a season.

Change your perspective and live out your destiny.
